Terms of Service

Welcome to Accipere. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Accipere platform and services (the "Service") operated by Invenire, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Accipere provides AI-powered job preparation tools including:

• Resume analysis and optimization
• Cover letter generation
• AI-powered mock interviews with video recording
• Interview feedback and coaching insights
• Job-specific preparation guides

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Pricing: We offer various subscription plans and one-time purchases. Current pricing is available on our website.

Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. One-time purchases are charged at the time of purchase.

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

Refunds: Refunds are provided at our sole discretion. Contact support@accipere.ai for refund requests.

4. Interview Credits

Some plans include a limited number of interview credits per billing period. Unused credits do not roll over unless otherwise specified. Purchased credit packs expire one year from purchase unless otherwise stated.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service to develop competing products
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights

6. Your Content

Ownership: You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including resumes, job descriptions, and interview recordings ("User Content").

License to Us: By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the right to upload it.

7. Generated Content

The Service generates various outputs including optimized resumes, cover letters, interview questions, and feedback ("Generated Content"). You own the Generated Content created for you, subject to the following:

• Generated Content is provided "as is" for your personal job search use
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing Generated Content before use
• We do not guarantee that Generated Content is free from errors or will achieve specific outcomes
• You should not rely solely on AI-generated content without human review

8. AI Limitations

Our Service uses artificial intelligence which has inherent limitations:

• AI-generated feedback and content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• Interview scores and assessments are estimates, not guarantees of real-world performance
• The Service does not guarantee job offers, interviews, or employment outcomes
• AI-generated resumes and cover letters should be reviewed and personalized by you

9. Recording Consent

By using our mock interview feature, you consent to the recording of your video and audio during practice sessions. These recordings are stored securely and used solely to provide playback, analysis, and feedback features to you. You may delete your recordings at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Invenire, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (payment processors, AI providers, authentication providers). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVENIRE, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Invenire, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Indiana.

18. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at legal@accipere.ai. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal legal action.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Invenire, Inc. regarding the Service.
